I’m Al Sanchez’s son-in-law. He continues to work on his memorial but it has been degraded since you saw it by the elements and by theft, etc. You really did an amazing job of capturing the essence and spirit of his endeavor. An amazing piece of journalism. Thank you.

absolutely fascinating..thanks for the bart prince link..breath-taking and surreal images..might want to incorporate some into the new digs..”gettysburg of the west” very moving..”where’s the birth certificate”..i doubt they would be literate enough to read it
